Your second visit includes:

  • Morning Arrival: Begin your procedure day with support from our caring staff. (You must have a driver present at the time of check-in)
  • Cervical Preparation with Misoprostol: Gentle preparation to ensure a safe procedure.
  • The Procedure: Performed under moderate sedation by experienced physicians using advanced dilation and evacuation (D&E) techniques.
  • Recovery and Monitoring: Rest in our private recovery area with professional monitoring and light refreshments.
  • Same-Day Discharge: Most patients are discharged within 30-45 minutes after the procedure is completed and can continue recovery at home.

The two-day protocol is required for all patients seeking abortion services at 18 weeks or beyond (exceptions apply). You must bring a driver on your second day. Additional planning may be needed for:
